psychological state are asked to help determine what remedy is indicated. However general guidelines are provided below and a homeopathic physician/pharmacist should be consulted. To find a homeopathic practitioner in your area see link: www.homeopathic.org

For sprains, strains, bruises to muscles, tendons, ligaments or any connective tissue that appears to have broken blood vessels, acute swelling and or shock following injury Arnica taken immediately, can assist healing and reduce development of swelling/pain. For this reason I recommend having a tube of arnica pellets close at hand at all times.
Arnica can also be rubbed into bruised and injured tissue in the form of gel.

Precautions: Arnica can cause a slowing of the heart (bradycardia) so anyone with heart issues should consult their homeopath before taking arnica.

Arnica is also recommended following surgery to reduce post-surgical pain and swelling.

Dosage varies according to the severity of the injury. With severe injury three pellets of 30 C potency are dissolved in the mouth as often as every ten minutes, decreasing the frequency as symptoms are reduced.

I am now offering in-person office visits. Telemedicine sessions are still available for those unable to do in-person visits.
